Access & Parking
Please be sure that your cars are parked in the designated driveway "Riverhouse South." Please be aware that Riverhouse South shares a wall with Riverhouse North. We took extra care to soundproof this wall so you can have as much privacy as possible!
The key code on the front door entrance is 5408.
Garbage
Please do not leave trash or anything smelly outside, as the bears will make a mess of it. You are more than welcome to place all of your trash in our "Bear Proof" dumpster located in the front of our property. The code to the dumpster is 1234. Thank you!
Amenities
Hot Tub
We all want super clean water, so please shower without soap before use and wipe any debris off your feet before getting in. Please keep the lid on and clipped when not in use. We also ask that you empty in one chemical cup directly into the hot tub filter before each use.
Please know that our hot tub area is not out of view from others in sight. Enjoy!
Cold Plunge
Remove cover.
Make sure drain is plugged.
Turn on the cold water (or a little warm if you're feeling less brave).
It should take about 20 minutes to fill, so we recommend leaving it running while you get in the sauna or hot tub to heat up.
Sauna: On the bottom of the heating unit, set to desired heat and turn the right knob to the first "1" position. You should hear it clunk on. It takes about 20 minutes to get to temperature, depending on how cold it is outside.
Indoor Fireplace: To turn on the fireplace, press and hold down on the power button.
Heated Towel Rack: The black rack located next to the shower is a heated towel rack! To use it, turn it on by pressing the power button before you get in the shower. To turn it off, just simply press the power button again.
Television & Smart Speaker: The Smart TV can be used with HDMI to your personal device or through digital platforms (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, or whatever you have subscriptions for). Please make sure to log out of all of your accounts on your checkout day.
If you want to connect to just the speaker for music, use your device to connect with Apple Airplay (this is not a Bluetooth device). Please make sure that you connect to the "Riverhouse South" Speaker.
Induction Stove
Turn on the induction cooktop by pressing the power button.
Place your cooking pan directly on top of the cooktop that you wish to use. The cooktop ring will sense the iron content in the cookware and start to heat it up immediately.
To increase or decrease the cooking temperature, increase or decrease the "P" level.
When done cooking, take the pan off the cooktop and hit the power button.
Check Out Instructions
Please leave all used beds as they are. No need to make them or strip them. Housekeeping will take care of it.
Put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run it.
Shut and lock all windows if you have opened them.
Log out of all your digital accounts used on the smart TV. We don't want other guests using your personal accounts!
If you move furniture, please put it back in its correct place. We do charge a $100 fee if the furniture is moved to a different place.
Lock the front door deadbolt and go out the way you came. Press "Yale" and turn the lock. DO NOT lock the door handle lock.
Altitude Sickness
Altitude sickness is when your body doesn't have time to adjust properly to lower oxygen availability higher up in the atmosphere. Some symptoms include feeling light headed, nausea, headache, fatigue, trouble sleeping, and vision changes.
If you are feeling any of these symptoms, we highly recommend drinking a lot of water and keeping your body hydrated. There is a Walmart located in Woodland Park (10 minutes away) which sells oxygen cans. In severe cases, we recommend driving down to Colorado Springs where the elevation is lower than up in the mountains.
We recommend booking an appointment at Elevation Hydration located in Colorado Springs. They offer IV Hydration Therapy to help eliminate altitude sickness.
